for the past several days i have been hearing an anxious isaak say "mama, let's bake sprinkle cookies!" my response has been "when i see you using your great virtues, we can bake cookies." of course, everyday i see isaak using great virtues along with typical three year old behavior... of not so great virtues! after receiving a gift from grandma of irresistible Christmas sprinkles isaak has been longing to engage in his new passion for baking. it has been a great opportunity of learning to work towards something wanted. today, i am grateful for moments of learning. for gaining patience, understanding, appreciation. and for the sweet, delicious taste of sprinkle cookies!

Those look so yummy! Emme loved her pumpkin cookies you sent home with her during Thanksgiving week! You do such wonderfully fun things with the kids!
