life is indeed simple.  [thanks for the lesson isaak] somehow, we tend to think that we always need more.  bigger, better.  more, more, more.  it is difficult to instill the virtue of being content with what we have when the world is telling us otherwise. today, i am grateful for this reminder: that we can find joy, satisfaction and peace in the unexpected.

today i am grateful for time with isaak.  time to laugh.  time to blow bubbles.  time to swing.  time to wipe away sad tears.  time to kiss & cuddle.  time to observe his creativity and curiosity.  in this busy world, it's easy to forget to take time to engage in everyday moments.  i am content i was able to do so today.

today i am grateful for precious sleep and the beauty of ezra's new quilt, lovingly handmade.  sweet dreams.

today i am grateful for a lovely brunch aboard the queen mary, a joyful easter egg hunt, spending time with family, my precious boys and celebrating jesus.  happy easter.

a quick & fabulous delivery.  a healthy baby boy.  proud parents.  glad big brother.  we are grateful for welcoming ezra.

the last week of my pregnancy, i celebrated my baby bump and the upcoming arrival of the baby boy by getting lovely art painted on my tummy with henna.  it was a beautiful experience and lasted until the delivery date.  i have been very grateful and give praise for the days anticipating ezra.
